Made by Mel Collective creates handmade, custom and personalised products. Some products may be digital or downloadable in the future.

Due to the handmade nature of our products:

 

  • Minor variations may occur and do not constitute a fault

  • Colours may vary depending on screen settings

  • Product images are indicative only

 

3. Orders

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • All information provided is accurate and complete

  • You have authority to provide any images, logos, text, or content supplied

  • Custom orders are produced strictly according to your instructions

 

Once an order has entered production, it cannot be cancelled or changed, except as required by law.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where instructions are unclear, inappropriate, or breach these Terms.

4. Proofs and Approvals (Custom Orders)

For custom items:

​

  • A design proof or template will be issued via email

  • You must carefully check all details, including spelling, names, dates, layout, and formatting

  • Production will commence only after written approval is received

 

Once approval is given, no responsibility is accepted for errors contained in the approved proof, and no further changes will be made unless the error is ours.

5. Customer-Supplied Images and Content

Where you provide images, logos, artwork, or text:

​

  • You warrant that you own the rights or have permission to use that content

  • You indemnify Made by Mel Collective against any claims arising from copyright or intellectual property breaches

  • Image quality is your responsibility; we are not responsible for poor print or production results caused by low-resolution or unsuitable files

 

6. Pricing and Payment

 

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering

  • Prices may change without notice

  • Additional fees may apply for rush orders or express shipping

 

Payments are processed securely via third-party providers. We do not store payment details.

 

7. Production Timeframes

 

Production times are estimates only.

​

  • Standard production time is up to 2 weeks, commencing after proof approval

  • Rush orders must be requested at the time of ordering and are subject to availability

 

Delays caused by late approvals or factors outside our control may extend production time.

 

8. Shipping

Shipping is governed by our Shipping & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Delivery timeframes provided by Australia Post are estimates only and are outside our control once an item has been lodged.

9. Digital Products (Future Use)

If digital or downloadable products are offered:

​

  • Delivery will occur electronically

  • No refunds or exchanges are available for digital products once supplied, except where required by law

  • You are responsible for ensuring compatibility with your device or software

 

10. Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees

Returns and refunds are governed by our Shipping & Returns Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted for custom or personalised products

  • Refunds or replacements are only offered where goods are faulty, defective, or not as described

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

 

11. Email Marketing

By providing your email address, you consent to receiving transactional emails and, where you opt in, marketing communications.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link provided or by contacting us.

 

12. Intellectual Property

All website content, designs, artwork, text, and branding are the intellectual property of Made by Mel Collective, unless otherwise stated.

You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.

Custom designs remain our intellectual property unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

13. Use of Website

You must not:
