Hi, I'm Mel!

Hi! I’m Mel — a passionate creator with a love for diving headfirst into all kinds of creative adventures. From paper craft and watercolour to acrylic painting, jewellery making and digital illustration, I’m happiest when I’m creating something new (and usually juggling several projects at once).

Making things has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. What started as a creative outlet slowly grew into something bigger, and in 2021 I took the leap and turned my passion into a business. Since then, Made by Mel has become a space where ideas turn into thoughtful, handmade pieces designed to bring a little joy to everyday moments.

By day, I work as a solicitor — but my art is where I unwind, recharge, and let my creativity run free. I’m incredibly proud to share that Made by Mel was named a finalist in the Camden Local Business Awards in both 2024 and 2025, a recognition that means the world to me.
